MORE ABOUT ME...

  • Why are you interested in joining Leadership for a New Era? I resonate with its focus on collective leadership, leadership networks, diverse leadership, and leadership across differences.

  • What do you hope to contribute to this collaborative initiative? (i.e. share resources for a specific topic, add a new topic, raise questions and ideas, etc.) For more information on how you can contribute content please visit the FAQ's section.
  • I hope to add to the mix ideas and practices concerning leadership, development of the individual and the collective, and "process oriented" ways of enhancing democracy, inclusion, and sustainability for all.

  • I am interested in the following topics (Leadership and Race, Leadership and Networks, Collective Leadership, Leadership across Difference, Other): All of these plus how subjective, non consensual realities impact individual and collective life and can be tapped for their unique resources and solutions.

  • The best word to describe me is: My favorite or most used word is "deep" and I think this is a reflection of me when my face is not buried in the comics section of the paper.

  • What else you should know about me: I am a Process Work Diplomate, Process Work being the approach to individual and collective change developed by Amy and Arny Mindell and their colleagues. I am also a follower, student, and sometimes, teacher of the Tao, the undercurrent of life, and see how the most sustainable interventions and change occurs when I support what is already trying to occur, as disturbing as that natural process may initially seem.

How did you find out about Leadership for a New Era? I found out about it through my recent introduction to the Leadership Learning Community.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE?

When you join the LNE website, you join as a "Registered User" and you automatically have access to the discussion threads – you can add new threads or comment on existing ones. We encourage you to also share resources and ideas to the content pages of the website. If you want to add, edit or delete content on a page, you need to request access by clicking on the “Request to be a Writer” button that appears at the top of every page and enter a quick blurb about how you want to contribute to the site. Once your request has been approved, your permissions settings will be set to "Writer" and you will be able to edit, delete, or add content to any page on the website.

If you complete your profile when you join the LNE website, we can also change your user settings to "Writer" - and you will not need to go through the process of filling out the "Request to be a Contributor" form. Simply tell us in your profile why you are interested in this collaborative research initiative, and in general terms, what you hope to contribute to the project (i.e. add resources on the topic pages, new topics, etc.) If you have questions please contact Natalia Castaneda.
