Literature on Policy Advocacy Capacity Building Best Practices

I am conducting a literature scan on the following topic. If you know of good resources, please let me know.

1) Policy Advocacy AND
2) Capacity Building AND
3) Communities of Color

Hi Hanh,

I am sure you know about PolicyLink publications. They are written quite a bit on the 1st and 3rd. We have done three scans on leadership development for people of color and that advances racial equity. If they are not public yet I will see if we can share them. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Deborah...if you can provide us an advance peek of your 3 scans, that would be great. Yes, the PolicyLink publication is a great starting place. Do you find this valuable?

Have you checked out these resources on cultural competency and capacity-building that the Alliance for Nonprofit Management has http://www.allianceonline.org/knowledgebase/index.php?tpid=7 ? You may also want to check out the Race Matters Toolkit set of publications that Casey has done http://www.aecf.org/KnowledgeCenter/PublicationsSeries/RaceMatters.aspx Hope this helps.
