Collective Leadership

While doing some online research, I came across this page that has a number of definitions for collective leadership.

Most of these definitions have qualities that are valued by the individuals involved, which adds a cultural component to the definition in use.

Yes, the Center for Ethical Leadership draws their definition from work they have done as a coordinating agency for the Kellogg Leaders for Community Change program. The program is based on a model of collective leadership that brings participants together around particular themes, e.g. youth/adult partnerships. They have developed a Framework and Workbook that make helpful contributions to our understanding of tapping collective leadership potential. A year or so they sponsored a learning lab and participants delved deeply into some of the gritty issues of power and process. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
